With long hours in the middle of nowhere, life on a mining campus can be a lonely experience. We had an opportunity to reimagine what life on site could look like through the journey of a new employee. It visualises how these mining sites can be designed to foster a deeper sense of community, a focus on wellness, and give people the time to learn new skills and grow. As well as how they can connect people with their friends and family back home, support their health in their own way, and ultimately create a place where people want to keep coming back.
